Dear Supporters,
Here is a letter to you from an orphanage we brought food relief to this week along with other orphanages in significant need.
Dear Friends,
I am writing to you with a heavy heart, yet also with gratitude for the many ways God continues to provide through compassionate people like you.
At Bawa Alin Orphanage, we are facing a season of immense difficulty. The crisis has made it nearly impossible to provide regular meals for the children. There have been times when we had no food at all.
In desperation, our orphans began visiting the local vegetable market, collecting discarded tomatoes, potatoes, and vegetables—spoiled produce that vendors could no longer sell but still had some use. From this, we managed to cook meals and keep the children nourished.
Just when our resources were running dry, Orphan’s Hope came alongside us with critical support—delivering rice, cooking oil, eggs, vegetables, and other essential food items. These gifts have sustained us and brought renewed joy to the children. For this, we are deeply thankful.
But our challenges go beyond food.
We are currently sheltering the children on church property, which belongs to another organization. Though we have been graciously allowed to stay, this is not a long-term solution. We are praying and searching for a permanent place to call home.
We have found a promising one-acre plot with access to water, electricity, and fruit trees such as mango, banana, and lime. The cost of this land is $20,000. With your help, we can secure it and build a safe, stable center for the children—a place they can truly call home.
Would you prayerfully consider giving toward this urgent need?
Your support will not only provide immediate relief, but also help secure the future for these children, many of whom have come from war-torn areas. (Please email Orphan’s Hope if you are interested in helping.)
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of this mission of hope.
With gratitude,
Pastor Brang Nom
