Dear Friends,
In spite of the bombs and war in Ukraine, Orphan’s Hope staff continue to show Christ’s love to orphans every week in ways that have a shining influence. This last week we started our annual summer camp at an orphanage in Kyiv and had a wonderful time with the children. Staff and 11 volunteers are investing their time and energy into the development of 50 kids this summer.
A staff member said, “Our prayer is Lord, bless this camp, every child, and every volunteer. Give strength, wisdom, warmth, and protection. Let each child feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.”
The children have had lot of fun playing sports, games, crafts, and having Bible studies. Dima noted, “We had a very good time with our young friends, and we had some deeper conversations about their future and their faith. We could see it brought them more hope in their lives.”
Please continue to pray for the children, our staff, and that peace will come to Ukraine. Thank you for your support and bringing God’s love to these special children!
