Stories of Meeting Orphans’ Needs
Dear Friends of Orphan’s Hope,
In these days of thanksgiving, we would like to thank you for your kind support for many needs of orphanages in 2024. When we look at the situation in our country of Myanmar and the condition of our political situation, it is very stressful for surviving for meals, clothes, health care, school fees, and the safety of our orphans’ lives, so we are praying to God for His protection and for provision for our children. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, orphans are being saved, loved and cared for in Jesus’ name.
As we worship the living God, he has been answering our prayers through you. With your wonderful support, Orphans Hope Myanmar has been able to pay for houses for orphans to avoid war in their area and now they are staying in a safe place. We have been able to provide daily meals for them, clothes, blankets and mosquitos nets for the children.
We were able to dig a well for those who needed fresh water. We were able to buy an electric generator, a motorized trishaw for school transport, and school fees for 800 orphans. Last Christmas we were also able to give gifts to over 1000 orphans. We are praying for help to hold our Christmas celebration again this year.

I am Pastor Mang Kee. I am a parent at New Hope Orphanage. Before we met Orphan’s Hope staff, our orphans’ condition was so hopeless for food, house rent, and school fees. When Orphan’s Hope staff came to us, they prayed for us for our land, and then they paid for our house rental. God answered when we prayed. After partnering with OHM, we bought a piece of land. Orphan’s Hope helped us to get fresh water. They paid for a well and water pump, they built girls’ and boys’ separate washing rooms, and we have received regular monthly food support improving the children’s health. Testimony from Pastor Michale – Love Children’s Home
I would like to thank Orphan’s Hope for critical help in time of need. The public school near our orphanage location did not accept our children because they have come from different divisions. When the political conflict began our children were not able to go to school because of the war and covid. When the school reopened the children were not accepted at school anymore after missing about 2-3 years. Finally, we have to choose a private school which is about 10km away but our challenge was then for transportation and the school fees for children. Then I went to join the Friday prayer meeting at Orphan’s Hope center at Garden Home. Thanks to OH donors they generously bought us a motorized trishaw for our 22 orphans and helped with school fees. They also have provided us with rice, nutrition packages and other food every month. We are so thankful to all of you.

If anyone is interested in a special project, we have been praying for God for a new van for Orphan’s Hope children. The van will provide school transport for 60 orphans daily, because we send them to two different schools. Now we are running about 5 round trips to school. It will also benefit in delivering food relief, daily trips go to the market to buy the children’s needs, emergency transport to clinics and hospital, etc. For a 15 seat van it will cost $25,000
