Kham and Lum, twin brothers born on 21 November 2020 (age 5), are thriving in their new home at Garden Home thanks to the compassionate support of our partners and donors. Since arriving on 2 May 2025, the boys have shown remarkable progress in their emotional stability, social development, and overall well‑being.
The twins come from Myitkyina in the Kachin State of Myanmar, where they experienced the profound loss of their family. Before being welcomed into our care, they lived in an overcrowded orphanage with limited resources. Through the generosity of partners like you, it has been possible for them to transition into a safe, loving, and stable environment with us where they can begin to heal and grow.
At Garden Home, both boys participate actively in daily activities and engage warmly with caregivers and other children. Their confidence is steadily increasing, and they are forming healthy, trusting relationships—an essential part of their long‑term emotional recovery.
We are encouraged to report that both children are in good health and continue to make steady, positive progress. Their growing sense of security and joy is a direct result of the support we receive from caring friends like you.
Thank you for helping provide a safe home, loving care, and a hopeful future for these two precious children.
