Feeding Hungry Orphans

Dear Friends,

Warm greetings to you from Myanmar on behalf of Garden Home and other our fellow co-workers. God is so good even though we are passing through many tragedies in our country. Sometimes we are worried for our daily lives and orphans’ lives because of the civil war. People are struggling for survival, but we know that God is protecting us.We thank God that He has prepared people like you, dear brothers and sisters who love God, to support us in many ways during this time of need. We would like to thank you for your kind support for school fees and for food for orphanages. It is a lifeline for many orphans. We have come and helped orphanages when they had no food and could only pray.  It is so good to hear the testimony of the orphanages’ house parents sharing how God has provided in these times of need for the orphans in their homes through you. These are the most difficult times among the people in our country. Many people are suffering, losing their business and jobs because of the conflicts and economic crisis. We would like to encourage you with a couple of houseparents’ testimonies who you have blessed.

We help Mercy Orphanage in Myanmar whose mom writes, “We have 60 orphans who mostly came from Naga land near India border. We have been through so much trouble in our lives since covid19 until now with the war. Sometimes I have no rice to feed my orphans, and this year also it is very difficult to find funds for school fees and tuition fees for my children until Orphan’s Hope helped us.  Last month and this month, I have only a little rice for meals for my orphans. Every time I have no hope to feed food for our orphans, I only can call Orphan’s Hope staff who always ready to help us as best they can.

From Emmanuel Orphanage – Life is so difficult because of our unstable situation. Not only for finances, but we are also facing real dangers around us. We have 50 Orphans from Southern Chin State and Rakhine States. Some teenage orphans had to leave us so they can find work for their survival. I have kept the young kids by God’s grace. Orphan’s hope is only our regular sponsor for more than 15 years and we are so thankful for you.   We always pray for Orphan’s Hope donors and faithful staff. God knows each individual person and donor. May God’s peace be upon you and your family.
